Purpose of the platform (operated by ILL in collaboration with EMBL)

Deuterium Labelling platform

- Deuteration operated as a facility for users of ILL instruments
- Possibility of 13C, 15N labelling using high cell density culture for NMR

adaptation of expression system to growth in D2O
test of expression levels and solubility of deuterated macromolecule
high cell density fermenter cultures
delivery of deuterated cell paste
purification of deuterated macromolecule if necessary
