Mass Spectrometry

Purpose of the platform (operated by IBS)

The mass spectrometry platform of the PSB offers to the local scientific community the following mass spectrometry services for protein analysis and characterization:

Protein and peptide high resolution and accurate mass determination

Control of protein expression, site-directed mutagenesis or labelling

Analysis of protein limited proteolysis

Characterization of pure protein bands on 1-D gel after enzymatic in-gel digestion
