The biophysics platform
The ISBG biophysics platform provides a set of instruments for the in vitro characterization of the intrinsic properties of biological macromolecules in solution, biomolecular interactions and their assemblies:
The platform is managed by scientists, engineers and technicians with technical and methodological know-how and expertise to assist any scientist in addressing various biological questions and projects.
The biophysics platform is composed of 13 instruments located in different buildings on campus: at IBS, CIBB and EMBL
Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (iTC200 and VP iTC)
Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) Monolith NT115 green/red
Surface Plasmon resonance (SPR: Biacore T200)
Biolayer interferometry (BLI: Octet Red 384)
Fluorescence spectroscopy (steady state or stopped flow)
Analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC)
Dynamic light scattering (DLS) cuvette
Static multi-angle light scattering ( MALS)
Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA)
