PSB and GRAL have partnered to organize the next PSB x GRAL student day on April 9th at IBS.
~150 students, including about 50 first year PhD students, are currently preparing a PhD thesis within the Partnership for Structural Biology (PSB: EMBL, ESRF, IBS, and ILL) and the Grenoble Alliance for Integrated Structural & Cell Biology (GRAL: BioSanté, BGE, IBS, LCBM, and LPCV).
The goal of the “PSB x GRAL student day” is to give all these young scientists a chance to interact with each other and to present and discuss their research project in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The student day is open to all PhD students of PSB and GRAL, as well as Master students and post-docs.
The programme includes :
- 2 plenaries to discuss the ethical challenges surrounding AI and the post-PhD journey
- talks by 3rd-yr PhD students
- flash talks by 1st-yr PhD students
- a poster session during lunch
- snacks & refreshments at the end of the day
